Asmaa Elsayed is a PhD Student in the Department of Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership at the College of Education. Asmaa’s research explores how Gen Z and Alpha minoritized women activists in Egypt use digital technologies to access forbidden knowledge, reshape identities, build social capital, and engage in activism, redefining ‘place’ and ‘belonging’ across digital and physical realms.
