Azifah (Ina) Astrina is a Ph.D Candidate in the Department of Political Science. Ina’s research examines women’s lived experiences on the island of Belakang Padang, Indonesia, within the securitized maritime border, using participatory mapping and interviews to analyze how gender norms and security governance shape women’s livelihoods, mobility, and space.
