We are happy to highlight a recent publication by Professor Kramer. Co-authored with Pak, S., Kramer, A., & Kim, Y. K., "Tipping the scales: how paid work hours thresholds impact health and gender wage disparities" was published in The International Journal of Human resource Management. Using 13 years of panel data, the study examines how paid working hours affect health outcomes and wages in South Korea, demonstrating an inverted U-shaped relationship where health improves with paid hours up to a specific threshold before declining.
