Bing Wang, an Assistant Professor for the Center for East Asian & Pacific Studies, and her research interests are Histories of Photography, Modern and Contemporary Chinese and East Asian Art and Visual Culture, Transnational Circulation of Images, Visual Motifs, and Media Forms, Chinese Studies: Historiography, Knowledge Production, and Future Directions, and Digital Humanities and Computational Approaches to Chinese Studies.
She received her Masters of Arts, Film and Photography Preservation and Collections Management at Toronto Metropolitan University in 2015. After, Wang earned her Doctor of Philosophy, Art History at Case Western Reserve University in 2022.
