We are happy to highlight a recent publication by Ghassan Moussawi. Co-authored with Mary Romero, “Introduction: Rethinking our Sociological Imaginations Through the Global South: Lessons from the Colonized” was published Online First in Sociological Forum on August 24, 2026. The article examines how perspectives from the Global South challenge established sociological paradigms and illuminate broader dynamic of authority, coloniality, and resistance.
