We are happy to highlight a recent publication by Ghassan Moussawi. Co-authored with Jacob Richardson and Thedore Greene, “Beyond Positionalities: Moving Towards a Queer Embodied Approach to Researching LGBTQ+ Space and Placemaking” appears in Sex & Sexualities. The article critically reflects on how affective embodiments condition research on LGBTQ+ space, arguing for a shift away from neoliberal narratives of visibility toward an ethically embodied understanding of queer spaces and knowledge production.
