We are happy to highlight an recent article by Ghassan Moussawi. Co-authored with Victoria Reyes, “Crisis Feminisms: How Convenient Forgetting, Feminist Ambivalence, and Racial Gaslighting Maintain the Status Quo” was published in Critical Sociology. The paper introduces the concept of "crisis feminisms" to examine how institutional and academic practices sustain structural power dynamics and re-enact epistemic violence through convenient forgetting, feminist ambivalence, and racial gaslighting.
